Project Summary
The Multicentre Audit of Cholecystostomy and Further intervention (MACAFI) Audit was our first national multi-centre audit. The project looked into the outcomes, follow up and technique for percutaneous cholecystostomy, a common treatment for acute cholecystitis. We recruited 1100 patients from 36 centres across the UK.
